GAR-BRO Manufacturing Co. announced the completion of the first of a new line of excavator buckets that the company will produce. GAR-BRO recently purchased the engineering rights to a broad range of attachments for earth moving equipment such as excavators, backhoes and wheel loaders. Dave Gehle, Vice-President of Engineering and Brian Crawford have been developing drawings and fixtures to produce the attachments at the Heber Springs Plant.
"We are really excited about this new line of equipment. It gives us more products to build and fits in well with the concrete placing buckets we already supply to the construction industry." said the Vice-President of GAR-BRO Manufacturing Co. The first will be delivered to J. A. Riggs Tractor Co. in Little Rock to be used on a Caterpillar excavator.
GAR-BRO Equipment is engineered to provide the customer with equipment which will allow efficient, reliable and on time placement of concrete when it is needed. Our 78 years of experience has taught us that details sometimes have a great impact on a construction job, and GAR-BRO devotes its full attention to the details as they relate to concrete placing equipment - buckets and concrete placing equipment are not a portion of our business - they are our only business. We devote 100 percent of our time to proper engineering and good quality fabrication of Concrete Placing Equipment, which will solve your placement problems.
The GAR-BRO product line covers a wide range of equipment, light as well as heavy, for many different types of concrete placement applications. GAR-BRO Concrete Buckets specifically designed for mass placement of concrete in large civil projects such as hydroelectric projects and power houses have been used the world over and have become the standard by which all others are measured. Most of the major hydroelectric dams in North America, where large aggregate, low slump concrete was placed, used GAR-BRO buckets. Guri Dam in Venezuela, Itaipu Dam in Brazil, and most recently Yantan Dam in the Peoples Republic of China were all built or are being built using GAR-BRO equipment.
